My client is looking for a Compensation, Benefits and Pensions specialist for a 6 months contract to work in their office in London on a hybrid basis.

Job spec below:

* Working within the EMEA Compensation and Benefits team, the EMEA Benefits team are responsible for the design and governance of benefits plans, programs and policies across the EMEA Region.
* Working within an SME Team of Benefits professionals and qualified actuaries, you will be responsible for the governance and management of some of the companies local and regional benefits programs within EMEA. You will be partnering with EMEA HR Generalists, in-country vendors and other stakeholders in the design and governance of our benefits that support the physical, financial, and emotional wellness of employees.
* You will have responsibility of established governance routines applicable to the benefit programs you will own, ensuring the effective management of various risks associated with the benefit programs.

* You will work with the wider Benefits and Pensions leads to ensure the effective cover of host country benefits during assignment.
* Additionally, you will be responsible for the governance and management of legacy international pension plans based offshore.
* You will work with Trustee and Tax advisors to ensure compliance, governance and risk management.

Core skills:

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex principles.
* You will be highly numerate and analytical with in-depth experience in Excel and other software and tools.
* Confidence and experience in consulting with senior partners with the ability to delivery complex benefits solutions, using creativity and problem solving.
* A risk-attuned mindset, with an in depth understanding of benefits governance and ability to adhere to internal governance models in the management of programs.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop project frameworks and keep all stakeholders informed.
* Confident stakeholder management with the ability to work with consultants and vendors to deliver quality support to employees.
* A team player with the ability to collaborate with partners and stakeholders across HR and outside of HR.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
